Marvin in 1861.  A detail of 40 soldiers returning from picket duty discharged their muskets at a barn.  Only four rounds struck the barn and only one low enough to hit a man!  We've improved through the years and now we can compete with most units in our region.  The 5th's present members are Wayne Berardi,  Alex Csanyi, Chris Deitz, Bill Downie, Ted Dyndiuk, Marty King, Whitney King, Guy Mazzerella, Norm Peck Sr. and Jr., Bill Scaplen, Roy Singleton, Mike Thomas, Matt Thomas, and Mark Wicander.  Our current membership all reside in Connecticut but are spread throughout the state.
