103rd Nationals
The 10th competed in every event except Repeater. In Carbine, the B team (with only 6) finished EVERY event. In Musket, the B team (with 5) finished almost every event. We shot Mortar and the demo Smoothbore events at the same time. Made a (sucessful) foraging expedition to Old Town Winchester to the Cork St Tavern with a force of 12. Scott and family (plus Larry and Penny) joined us on Saturday.

We started the season in fine style ... the first event was Carbine, which the A team won. Next came Revolver, which the A team won. Alas, we only took second in Musket on Sunday. First chance to see old friends, first chance at meaningful claybirds, for old hands as well as new recruits. A very enjoyable weekend. |

In Winter QuartersThe troops suffered through a tough "New England" winter - we are used to missing one practice here or there, but even when we could make it to the range, the temperature (15 degrees but sunny the day the photos were taken) or the snow (deep "corn" snow the next time we could make it) made it difficult to concentrate on shooting |
